Position Overview

Ultimate Staffing Services is actively seeking a dedicated Medical Insurance Coordinator to join their client's team in Minnesota. This role requires a keen eye for detail and the ability to manage insurance coverage processes efficiently. The successful candidate will play a crucial part in ensuring accurate insurance eligibility and coverage verifications.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for insurance eligibility/coverage re-checks/verifications within the quality assurance process.
  • Identify and resolve issues associated with insurance coverage before claim submission.
  • Collaborate with clients and internal teams on insurance concerns.
  • Document customer interactions and actions taken.
  • Maintain proficiency in CRM systems, Microsoft Office, and related tools.
  • Respond promptly to customer inquiries sent via e-mail, mail, fax, chat, or over the phone.
  • Collect and manage data to support medical record integrity and audits.
  • All other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree preferred but not required
  • 2+ years of experience with Medical Insurance
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Efficient problem analysis and problem-solving skills.
  • Computer literate with demonstrated ability to learn new programs.
  • Ability to adapt to a fast-changing environment
  • Ability to actively participate and work in cross-functional teams
  • Demonstrated track record of identifying and implementing process improvements
